“Remember this: What’s waiting for you is so much better than what’s already gone.” — Lewis Howes
We tend to dwell on our mistakes, mishaps, shoulda, woulda, and coulda’s. Sometimes, we relive good moments in hopes that those same feelings of happiness and euphoria arise. Sometimes, we are just plain stuck.
But, if we remain stuck in the past, we truly miss out on the present and the anticipation of whatever the future may hold. So, the real question is, do we enjoy living in the moment and looking forward to the opportunities of tomorrow, or do we stay stuck?
I choose to be in each moment and see what the future has. I know it will be much better because my life has only increasingly gotten better over the last 20 years. Now that I am surrounded by an amazing family and network of friends, it will just continue to get better every day.
